Manufacturing Tooling
Multiple new sets of dies, daps, and bending tooling where manufactured to support new product integration on the manufacturing floor.
Each frame shape and size needed custom tooling and fixtures for production.
Randolph has more than 100 different frames that all need manufacturing tooling.
To maintain production a small on-site machine shop was used to produce custom tooling and fixtures for the manufacturing floor.
Each new set of tools where validated and then trained with the operators.
A full set of new tooling was made to support the Aviator and Concorde XL sizes.
